What's the likelihood of someone adopting a 14-16 year old cat when it enters the shelter?
The assumption is that people always want the playful new kitten. This time, Instagram swiftly proved that assumption wrong! For a Senior Sunday highlight, I posted her picture and before you could say Silverstray the questions started rolling in. Then the next day the application got approved and off Maggie went. Even through her cantankerous age someone decided to give her a home to let her live out how many ever years she may have. This is another example of why posts tailored to days of the week are so important. I have so many magical "all because of a single post" success stories just like Maggie's, but hers will always hold a special place in my heart because she was a senior. And it happened LITERALLY overnight, all because of a specifically timed single post.
